Admissions

Currently the IZA is able to accommodate 120 children of compulsory schooling age. The School caters for children from the age of 5 to 11.

Initial enquiries are accepted over the telephone and, if a place is available, parents and children are invited to visit the school and to meet with the Head teacher. We consider it vital that parents and children visit the school. We always invite parents to visit with their child before starting school, as it is always comforting for the children to know their parents are welcome. We want to make your child’s entry to school as easy and relaxed as possible. Staff at the School will help your child settle into school.

Please telephone 020 8555 6258 to make an appointment to visit the Head Teacher.

The Headmaster will require a copy of a recent report from the pupil’s current school and/or invite the pupil to an interview accompanied by his/her parents.

The child has to take an entry written test in English and Maths.

  • Meeting

At the meeting all the necessary documents will have to be produced (i.e. birth certificate/passport, existing school reports, and proof of residence…).

  • Fees 2016-2017

If a place is offered and you accept it then the Initial Registration fee (£300) must be paid within a specified time, usually one week. If a place is offered at the beginning of the academic year but not taken up at that point in time the child’s name will be taken off the waiting list.

The school fees for the rest of the school are £2300 per year (separate from the one-off registration fee).

Parents are advised not to rely solely on their application to IZA Primary School but to also apply elsewhere as places are not guaranteed.

The school reserves the right to amend its admission policy at any time. Please see our admission policy for more details.
